Obituary:
Charlie M. Siplin, 86, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Charlie was born on July 24, 1940 in Winter Garden, Florida to the late Alice and Cornelius Siplin. After completing his formal education, he enlisted in the US Army, and was honorably discharged in 1962.
Following his military career, Charlie worked as a car salesman, an insurance agent and owned his own company. He was a life member of the AMVETS. He was a devoted husband, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lillie M. Patrick; 1 son; 3 siblings, Nellie Smith, Rollie Siplin, Rosa (Pastor James) Allen; 2 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, 10:00AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor James T. Allen, officiating. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with full military honors.
