Obituary:
Andrew James Tomlin Jr. , 73, of Orlando departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Andrew was born on September 18, 1952 in Orlando, Florida to the late Mary Lee Willis Tomlin and Andrew James Tomlin Sr.
He was a proud graduate of Jones High School, class of 1970. After completing his formal education, he enlisted in the U.S Marines for nine years. After his military career, he worked at Florida Manor Nursing Home, In Flight Services for the airlines, County Landfills, and Ashley furniture store.
He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will forever cherish his precious memories.
He leaves behind a son, Andrew Tomlin III; loving companion of 45 years, Linda Flowers; step children, Kim Dillon, Sharon Flowers, Precious Cameron; sisters, Robyn (Erwin) Holloway, Jewel Willis, Rhonda Willis, Kathryn (Ray) Tomlin, Candace (Daniel) Faustin; brothers, Minister Guy (Zakiya) Willis, Jonathan Willis; uncle, Homer Gaines; 1 granddaughter; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A service of memory will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando, with Minister Guy Willis, officiating.
