Obituary:
Loretta Ann “Ret” Williams, of Orlando, fell asleep and entered eternal rest on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was born on September 23, 1945 in Webster, Florida to the late Mamie Lou and Ernest C. Williams Sr. She began her education in OCPS at Washington Shores Elementary School, and was a proud graduate of Jones High School, laying the foundation for a life defined by resilience, dedication, and faith.
Professionally, Loretta was employed as a Supervisor with Sheraton Hotels, Orlando.
Her faith in God was central to her life. Sis. Williams served in several roles as an active member Orlando Deliverance Center, where she served diligently on the Trustee Board, Youth Ushers Advisor, Sunday School and the Finance Board. She loved the Lord and demonstrated her faith through service.
“Ret” leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends. She is survived by her 5 children, Kevin Williams, Woodrow Miller Jr., Tammie Miller, Eugene Hall, Leslie Hall; sisters, Constance Rivers, Katrina Fisher; brother, Peter Williams; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She will live on in the hearts and minds of her family, church family and numerous friends.
Loretta will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her nurturing spirit, her strength as a mother, and her love for her church and community. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 5 PM – 7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, 12:00 Noon at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Pastor Wendell C. Webster, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
