Obituary:
Lucille M. Grant, 96, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Lucille was born on March 23, 1929 in Hanover, Jamaica, West Indies.
Lucille was employed as a nurses aide for several years. Lucille was a faithful member of North Orlando SDA Church, Orlando. Aside from her church participation, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, reading the bible, and keeping a clean home. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She dedicated her life to serving God with her whole heart and caring for people. Lucille was a beautiful, giving and kind individual that made a lasting impact on many lives, and she will forever be missed.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Jacqueline Grant; son, Jeffrey (Ann Marie) Grant; brother, William McCourtie; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM until services begin at 10:30 AM, North Orlando SDA Church, 4125 N. Hiawassee Road, Orlando with Pastor Gregory Carroll, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
