Obituary:
Betty M. Stephen, 80, of Orlando, entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Betty was born on June 29, 1945 in Pinewood, SC to the late Lucinda and Jessie Taylor.
She loved the Lord and was an active member of New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Orlando prior to the decline of her health. Aside from her church involvement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Betty was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sister Betty Stephen leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends. She is survived by her 3 sons, William Stephens, Richard (Roberta) Stephens, Jo’Nathan Solomon; sisters, Rev. Bertha T. Johnson, Sarah Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. She will live on in the hearts and minds of her family other relatives and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, 11:00 AM at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Pastor Wendell C. Webster, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
