Obituary:
Darryl Germaine McDonald, 51, of Eatonville, departed this life on Monday, April 28, 2025. Darryl was born to Vera Yates and Alan McDonald on September 20, 1973 in Orlando, Florida.
Darryl attended Orange County Public Schools. After his formal education, he entered the workforce and became a cook in the fast food industry. In his spare time, Darryl enjoyed cooking at family functions and going to the dog track. Darryl was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Darryl is survived by his loving mother, Vera Williams Yates; 5 siblings, Sophia Williams, Patrice McDonald, Tami (Travis) Newman, Yolanda Williams, Stevenson Yates, Jr.; and a host other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 9AM until services begin at 11:00AM, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 45 E. Par Street, Winter Park. Interment: Woodbridge Cemetery, Fern Park.
