Obituary:
Arleatha Stevenson, 72, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Arleatha was born on March 9, 1953 in Milan, GA to the late Rebecca and Henry R. Jenkins.
Arleatha was a loving and caring woman with a heart of gold. She loved shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren always gravitated to her. She instilled values and morals in the lives of all the children around her. She was an active member of Apostolic Church of Jesus, Orlando, serving as a willing worker in whatever capacity needed. Arleatha was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband, Alfonso Stevenson; 8 children, Melissa Brunner, Leoris Chenault, Amanda Chenault, Wayne Chenault, Melissa Jones, Troy Stevenson, Felicia Stevenson, Lindsey Stevenson; 5 siblings, Henry (Sharella) Jenkins, Robert (Barbara) Jenkins, Larry (Anna) Jenkins, Jacob Jenkins, Yvonne Jenkins; 22 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, 11:00 AM at Apostolic Church of Jesus, 4432 Piedmont Street, Orlando with Bishop Daniel Boles. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
