Obituary:
Angela Yvette Porter-Williams, 56, of Apopka, FL departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Ann, as she was affectionately known, was born on June 4, 1967 to the late Ada Mae Porter in Sarasota, Florida. She was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Edgewater High School. Professionally, Ann was employed as a procurement agent with AdventHealth prior to her demise.
Angela was a woman of great wisdom. She had a genuine passion for caring for people and dedicated her life to providing for her beloved family. She served God with her whole heart and was the financial secretary at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Apopka for several years. She also served her community as a youth cheer coach. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of her children and family to follow. Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Angela is survived by her loving children, Jazmyne Williams, Anthony Williams Jr., Shonmethia Williams, and Avachon Williams; 4 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 1:00 PM at A Place of Grace, 5230 Indian Hill Road, Orlando with Pastor Herman Dericho, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
