Obituary:
Davina Esmena Charles, 56, of Ocoee fell asleep and entered eternal rest on Friday, March 4, 2022. Debbie, as she was affectionately known, was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, WI on April 17, 1965 to Mencileta Clarke and Alvin Clarke. Professionally, she was employed as a sales representative for JCPenney Department store.
Debbie’s family meant the world to her, and even after her health failed her, she never forgot her family and others she loved. She is now resting in the blossom of Jesus where there is no more pain or sorrow. She has her wings now, and Heaven has another angel. Her memory will forever be treasured by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Vincent Charles; son, Howard Baker; parents, Mencileta and Alvin Clarke; brothers, Alvin Clarke, Alphonso Clarke; sisters, Andrea Clarke, Simone Clarke, Althea Clarke; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. As service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, 10:00 AM at Radiant Life Assembly of God, 8151 Clarcona Ocoee Road, Orlando. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.

Davina Charles:
Davina Charles was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, family member, friend, and most
importantly, mother and wife. As she joins her ancestors in the great beyond, each of you, take
this opportunity to remember that special time you had with Davina, then keep that moment in
your heart and soul.
Although I have not seen Davina for decades, I still remember that she would smile when we
saw each other; yes, Davina smiled. So now, as the celestial chariot carries Davina home to rest,
know that she is at peace.
Finally, to family members and friends, listen closely and you will hear trumpets and bells ringing
loudly because a child of God has come home to rest.
From
Cousin Wayne Brown
We will miss Debbie in this life but her memory will always live. Condolences to mother Mency, dad Alvin, sister, brothers and the rest of her big family which is my family as well. Debbie is doing her freedom sleep from this troubled world. May her soul REST IN PERFECT PEACE
