Obituary:

Pastor Mary Robbin Cruse Burney, 62, of Orlando, fell asleep and entered eternal rest on Monday, August 30, 2021. Pastor Burney was born in New Brunswick, NJ on January 11, 1959 to Dollie and Charles E. Cruse, who preceded her in death. Pastor Burney accepted The Lord as her Savior at an early age. Professionally, she labored in several different career ventures. She was a beautician for several years in the Orlando Community; worked for the B-Line Limo transportation company, The Atlanta Journal, and she taught in the Public school system of Moultrie, GA, and also worked for Moultrie Police Department. Her greatest rise to success was becoming and entrepreneur and opening of her own Jewelry Business called “Paparazzi”.

Pastor Burney’s God-children and family meant the world to her, and even after her health failed her, she never forgot her family and others she loved. She is now resting in the blossom of Jesus where there is no more pain or sorrow. She has her wings now, and Heaven has another angel. Her memory will forever be treasured by all that knew and loved her. She served faithfully as a member of Faith and Power Worship Center and in the Ladies Prayer group. She was a devoted and loving wife, “mother of many”, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Louis Burney; sister, Miranda Cruse; brother, Anthony Grady; God brother, Kelvin Bacon; god children that she raised as her own, George Robinson, Michael Reid, Jordan Bravo, Shirley, Shannon Brown, Chelsea Strong, Sandra Ann; grandson, Kykari Burney; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, 11:00 AM at Faith and Power Worship Center, 2230 E. Semoran Boulevard, Apopka with Apostle Matthew Shaw, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
