Obituary:
Odette Lartigue, 84, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Odette was born on February 6, 1937 in Marigot, Haiti to Laurette Henry and Vivallex Lartigue. She had a love for children, and dedicated her life to educating them for several years as a teacher in Haiti. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish loving memories of a life well lived: 3 children, Marsha (Velan) Tilus, Gerardine (Ulrick Benoit) Moreau, Evens Lartigue; sisters, Andrelita Justin, Laurene Justin; brother, Gerard Andre’; grandchildren, Claude Jeffrey Moreau, Steffany (A. Dimitry) Moore, Evens Johnathan Lartigue, Francesca Tilus, Rony Tilus, Scott Moreau; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9:00AM until services begin at 10:00AM, Premiere Eglise Baptiste Eben-Ezer d’Orlando (First Baptist Church Eben-Ezer of Orlando), 3413 N. Pine Hills Road, Orlando with Pasteur Pierre Michaud, officiating. Interment: Edgewood Cemetery, Apopka, FL.
