Obituary:
Aggie Lee Hooten, affectionately called “Old Man” by family and friends, departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020. Aggie Lee was born September 1, 1961 to the late Mr. George M. Hooten and the late Mrs. Mattie P. Wright Blair of Troy, Alabama. He was a man that would give his all to help anyone. By trade, he was a handyman and local mechanic. He received his education at West Orange High School in Winter Garden. He was a loving and caring man that was determined to enjoy life and simply enjoyed every moment of it.
He leaves to mourn his passing: daughter, Renee Smith of Orlando; siblings, Ruby Ceal Connelly, Lena Johnson of Orlando. Annie Sesler, Barbara Luckett (Jim) of Winter Garden, Danyel Hilton of Orlando, Cee Dee Blair Sr (Jennie) of Apopka, James Blair of Winter Garden, Lorenzo Hooten (Debra) of Orlando; special aunt, Josephine Owens; uncles, Charlie Wright of Winter Garden and Willie C. Wright of Adel, Georgia; special niece, Pamela Reynolds of Orlando. He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020, 11:00 AM at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 S. Lakeview Avenue, Winter Garden with Pastor David S. Harp, Sr., officiating.
