Bishop Helligar served the people of this community with a heart of love and compassion to reach the lost with the glorious message of salvation. On 09/14/13 I dedicated my entire radio program as a tribute to our friend and mentor Bishop A. L. Helligar. It was the least we could do for the many years of encouragement, counsel, and wise debates that we had which made us so much better, What a blessing to know you, your family, and members of your ministry Bishop, and to share with you many of life’s experiences – RIP my friend safely in the arms of The Lord That you have made the centerpiece of your life for over half of a century – It’s going to be a joy when we get to meet again with you and The Lord Jesus!

I Feel Blessed to have met Bishop A. L. Helligar and his family about 13 years ago. We have shared a great relationship since that time. We were part of the founding member with Bishop Helligar for the Kingdom Network Empowering Communities (K.N.E.C.). We have done marches together, 40 days of prayer and annual Stop the Killing Rallies in the Pine Hills area of Orlando, Florida. Bishop Helligar will be greatly missed. We are praying for His immediate family and church family for Gods strength and comfort. Pastor Linton Morris and the Holiness Born Again Church, Orlando family.

My condolences to the family on the loss of Bishop Helligar. I had the pleasure of meeting Bishop Helligar and his wife Ms. Dorothy in the late 90’s. Bishop Helligar was a great man of God always reaching out to save souls. Bishop Helligar was very instrumental in the stop the violence marches and other events held in the Pine Hills area with the KNEC organization. I often saw him at Evans High school football games displaying his love for Christ t-shirts. and always willing to pray with and lead people to Christ to save their souls no matter where he was at. Bishop Helligar was a true prayer warrior. Bishop will be deeply missed.
