Obituary:
Dahlia Serena Henderson, 51, of Orlando, FL, departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Dahlia was born on October 30, 1974 in Lucea, Jamaica, West Indies. Professionally, she was employed as a medical assistant with AdventHealth Hospital for several years.
Dahlia was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to raising and caring for her beloved family. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Above all else, she was a woman of faith. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for her children and family to follow. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband, Bishop Louis Henderson Jr.; children, Isaiah Barnes, Christopher (Jayssa) Barnes, Joshua Barnes, Davin Barnes; 4 siblings; 2 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and numerous friends. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, 2:00 PM at New Hope Ministries of Orlando, 1416 30th Street, Orlando with Pastor Corey Johnson, officiating.
