Obituary:
Willie Sneed, 87, of Orlando, was called from labor to reward on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Willie was born on September 12, 1938, in Monticello, Florida (Jefferson County), to the late Green Sneed and Eveleaner Adkinson Sneed. He was educated in the Jefferson County School System and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at his family church home, Bethel A.M.E. Church in Monticello, Florida.
Willie, affectionately known as βBill,β dedicated many years of his life to construction work. Through his strong work ethic, faithfulness, and quiet strength, he earned the respect of those who knew him both on and off the job. After many years of faithful service, he retired from construction, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mary Sullivan-Sneed; his children, Cheryl Sneed-Clark (Milton), Myrna Bing (Harry), Ivory Sneed (Shawn), and Carl Sneed, all of Orlando, Florida; sister, Minnie Dixon; brother, Hodges Sneed; along with his 9 loving grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

Deacon Sneed will be missed. What a great man of God
Uncle Bill, I remember you coming to Monticello to visit grandma in the summer with Uncle Lewis. You always had a smile on your face, and always kind. I will always remember you two ordering me some school&church clothes, and shoes, asked grandma my sizes!! Rest in God’s Paradise, Love Joanne your niece (Sharon).
