Obituary:
Gavaskar U. Bryan, 54, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Gavaskar, affectionately called “Gavie” by friends, was born on July 24, 1971 in Tortola, British Virgin Islands to Urlin Freeman and Alfred U. Bryan. He was a Walmart warehouse employee for several years until he retired.
Gavie was a loving, caring, and respectable man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Gavie raised all of his children with values and morals. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife, Sharon Bryan; 2 children, Khiana Franklin, Kelvin Franklin; 12 siblings; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, 3:00 PM at Faith Cathedral Deliverance Center, 4425 N. Powers Drive, Orlando with Pastor Yvette Leachman, officiating.
