Obituary:
Merdina B. Brown, 91, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Merdina was born on September 9, 1934 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies.
Merdina was a faithful member of the SDA Church, Orlando. Aside from her church participation, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, baking, gardening, and keeping a clean home. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She dedicated her life to serving God with her whole heart and caring for people. Merdina was a beautiful, giving and kind individual that made a lasting impact on many lives, and she will forever be missed.
She is survived by her children, Hazel Brown, Noel (Melita) Brown; brother, Verly Chisholm; sisters, Ditaly Clarke, Donna Clarke, 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, 11:00 AM at North Orlando SDA Church, 4125 N. Hiawassee Road, Orlando. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
