Obituary:
Cecelia E. Rankin, 93, of Kissimmee, FL transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Cecelia was born on August 6, 1932 in Panama City, Panama to the late Ivy Mae and Clifford J. Henry. She was employed as a registered nurse for several years before she retired.
She devoted her life to service and was a dedicated member of South Orlando SDA Church, Orlando. During her spare time, she enjoyed studying and sharing the word of God with believers and non believers alike. She was a loving, caring humble woman of great faith and wisdom. Her laughter was infectious! Cecelia loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cecelia’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband, Earl Rankin; 5 children, Anita Y. Rankin, Mario Rankin, Antonio (Colleen) Rankin, Arturo (Reng) Rankin and Ricardo (Gina) Rankin; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and numerous friends. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
A Service of Celebration will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 4:00 PM at South Orlando SDA Church, 1112 W. Oakridge Road, Orlando, Florida. Interment (Wednesday, September 24th): Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
