Obituary:

Mildred Faye Dixon, 77, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Miki, as she was affectionately known, was born on August 16, 1947 to the late Wilhelmina Clark. Professionally, Mildred was employed with the US Postal Services until she retired.

Mildred loved the Lord, her life, her family, and the church. She was an active member of Free Church, Apopka. She was also a skilled musician, namely the piano. She was a faithful and willing servant who instilled love, wisdom and Christian values for her family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend with a heart of gold who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mildred is survived by her devoted daughter, Kimberlee Lockett; sisters, Soheila (Khither) Naeem, Alicia (John) West; brother, David Hayes; 3 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4-6PM a the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, 11:00 AM at Free Church, 3600 McNeil Road, Apopka with Pastor Doug Shackelford, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
