Obituary:
Whitcliffe N. Clarke, affectionately known as Cookubac, was born on November 23, 1937 in the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica. He migrated to America early 1990 with his wife Rosaline Clarke and children.
Whitcliffe was a loving, caring, gentle giant. He loved gardening and cooking for family and friends. His grandchildren and great grandchildren always gravitated to him.
He was caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable. Whitcliffe raised all of his kids with values and morals. He always taught all of his kids how to be strong and resilient. He cared for and loved all of his family. He was a provider and loved devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories: devoted wife, Rosaline Clarke; children, Sherene Clarke Rochester, Denise Clarke, Dean Clarke, Paul Clarke, Andrew Clarke, Richard Clarke, Elomie Minott, Clair Harvin, Elvis Minott, Whitcliffe Clarke Jr.; sister, Carmen Williams; grandchildren, Olivia, Alecia, Justine, Alaina (LaLa), Jibon, Christopher, Shayleen, Kiera, Clayton, Fabian, Joseph, Georgio, Georgeanna, Andre; nephew, Johnny Williams; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, 11:00 AM Fresh Oil Ministries, 8301 Silver Star Road, Orlando with Rev. Wayne Mattias, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
