Obituary:
Hope Deneen “Hopey” Burks, 59 of Orlando, departed from this life on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Hope, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on March 22, 1965 to Elouise Collins and Leslie Stoves. Professionally, she was employed as a customer service representative at WalMart at the time of her demise.
Hope was a woman of great wisdom, integrity and love. She dedicated her life to serving God, her family and community. She was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Pine Hills, serving in whatever capacity that she was needed. She instilled love, wisdom, and values for all of her children and grandchildren to follow. Her memories will live on in our hearts. She loved her family and showed love to everyone. Hope was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
“Hopey” leaves to cherish her love and memories to: her children, Lorenzo (Rachel) Burks, Jr., Latrenda Burks; siblings, Elder Toni Lynn Davis, Pastor Anthony (Julia) Davis; 5 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, church family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church of Pine Hills, 6225 Clarcona Ocoee Road, Orlando with Pastor Alandus Sims, Sr., officiating.

Hope was one of the most Beautiful, souls you could ever meet or be around. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren I will miss our talks hope fly high Beautiful Angel we love you 🙏❤️
Sis Hope this was a hard one from the day I met y’all on Ivey lane and y’all welcome me and the kids into the family I was treated with nothing but love and kindness . You was a women of God faithful to God you will be missed rest on thy good and faithful servant .
