Obituary:
Virginia Michelle Grant, 52, of Wimauma, FL, departed this life on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Virginia was born on August 1, 1972 in Orlando to Grace Juanita Grant and Eddie Lee Grant.
Michelle was a kind soul that put her family and friends first. She loved to travel and often loved to fellowship in church . Saturdays was her favorite days of fellowshipping with her sisters in Bible study . She was a very supportive women far as financial , spiritual, and just being a ear to listen. Some may have received weekly calls, some would received daily morning calls . But it didn’t matter whomever she loved heard from her. Communication was her strongest suit in this world and she keep it going. No matter what may have been going on in her life she also made it necessity to reach out . That’s who she was a selfless soul.
She also was a very bright and driven women .. she picked up and soared in the medical field where she started out as a LPN in 1996. Which later wasn’t the final chapter but a check point as she later she went on to received her bachelors in Nursing . As many would be satisfied with that success unfortunately it wasn’t enough for the bright soul as she continued to finish out her Masters in become a Nurse Practitioner.
Many of us have heard her saying” it’ll all work out” with that I hope we all continue to REMEBER theses words. To continue to keep faith and to remember that as a friend, mother , sibling , and also coworker that it’ll all work out . In not in the sense of just having hope but having faith and standing in that faith and understanding that the lord has a plan. To REMEBER that through all things Christ strengthens me and to walk strong with the lord and to continue to walk in his grace as we are apart of his divine image .
She leaves behind two children, Jermaine Grant and Jasmine Grant; mother, Grace Juanita Grant; brothers, Vincent Sanders and Carl Sanders; a godson, James Smith; cousins, Monica Elliot, Sharade, Patricia Pate Williams; an uncle, Charlie; and friends which are immediate family, Renee Smith, Edwarnique Holifield, Tomeke Bouier, Diane K.
We’d also like to thank her last employer, Bausch & Lomb for helping with transitioning and providing assistance in these hard times, David Smith, Lilian Eshem, Bryan Williams, and Theresa Dzielski.

I pray Viriginia’s family finds peace with their loss. Knowing Virginia was a blessing beyond words. She is the reason I am alive today. Her quick response, determination and selflessness is why I am here today. She became a very close friend that will be remembered forever and missed terribly. Her sweet demeanor, calm presence and deep caring nature was an inspiration to me. There will definitely be a gap without my dear colleague.
So sad and sorry to here about Virginia my nurse at B@L, as u said she was a great listener, I always appreciated her help and input with different situations that came up in life.
Gone too soon at only 52, beautiful, sweet lady. John 5:28,29.
We spoke of spiritual things many times which eased pain and stress.
Rest in peace my sweet friend.. 😪
Virginia Michelle Grant, you were one of my closest childhood friends! Some would even say we were besties! I would lay down my life for you girl. From church, Sunday school, summers at grandmas, vacation bible school, house parties, sleepovers you name it we did it. If anyone even looked at my girl wrong I was always ready to fight. She would say Tiffy you are a firecracker!!! Always ready to blow them up girl!!! There are so many things i’ll l miss about my friend but the one thing that stands out the most is her heart. It was sooooo BIG and pure. Keep smiling and making those jokes in heaven!!! Cant wait
I will miss her kind manners and her eagerness to help. She was helping me get through some rough challenges in my life. Virginia, I will miss you and as you always told me things will work out. I pray for your family and friend who have loosed an angel.
Virginia was a blessing to everyone who crossed paths with her. She always had words of encouragement and would see the positive side of every situation. Many felt a close bond with Virginia which is what makes her loss so difficult. I will always miss her weekly “Dad Jokes” and her amazing sense of humor. To Jermaine and Jasmine, my family is always here for you if you need anything (as Virginia was always here for mine). For now, it’s goodbye, but we will see you soon Virginia.
I was devastated to hear about your sudden loss!
I will always miss your words of encouragement and the healing conversations. I’m grateful I got the chance to know you as both a colleague and a friend.
