    Ms. Katie Mae Freeman,

The first time I met you at the hospital, your big smile lit up the room. And again, when I saw you at home, that same infectious smile warmed my heart. It’s a testament to your spirit and the joy you shared with others.

Now, you have received your wings and are at peace with God. The gates of heaven have opened up for you, and I hope you find comfort in knowing that you are resting in His embrace.

To Mr. Todd Freeman, please remember that no matter the distance, your mother’s love for you is immeasurable. She carried you in her heart, and that bond will always remain strong.

May you both find solace in the beautiful memories shared and in the love that will forever surround you.

    With heartfelt condolences,
Mattie Aikens and The Aikens Family
