Obituary:
Pansy Whittaker, 77, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Pansy was born on December 31, 1946 in St. James, Jamaica, WI.
Pansy devoted her life to providing for her family, serving God and her church. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for her children and grandchildren to follow. She will be remembered well for her radiant smile and warm eyes, encapsulating her loving and caring nature.
Pansy had a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Winston Whittaker, Richard Whittaker, and Georgette Thomas; Step-Children, Charles; Son-in-law, Adrian Thomas; Daughter-in-law, Margaret Whittaker; her grandchildren, Tiesha Wickham, Anthony Wickham, Tyrese Wickham, Stefan Wickam, Theresa Cole, Tiffany Cole, Camron Cole, Michael Whittaker, D’Andre Jackson, G’nyah Jackson, and Adrian Thomas; her great-grandchild, Nova and Nalani Wickham; her siblings, Patricia Rose Folkes (The original Rose), Sonia Williams, Paul Grant and the late Gloria Williams; Brother-in-laws, Patrick Folks and Franklyn Williams; her nieces and nephews, Jamar Folks, Janelle Folks, Luanda Williams, Franklin Williams, Carol Campbell, Mikey Black, Sharon Black, Janet Black and the late Joy McFerson. Along with a host cherished friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, 2:00 P.M. at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Theo Jackson, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
