Obituary:
Emma Jean Jackson, 82, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Emma Jean, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on September 1, 1941 to Hattie Mae and James Turner. Professionally, she was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant for several years.
Emma Jean was a woman with a heart of gold. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino, family gatherings and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children: Alesia (Johnny) Stewart, Jamie Harrold; 6 siblings, Sylvia Ward, Annie Ward, Sandra M. Hall, Valerie Dixon, Mark Ward, H.W. Ward; 2 grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 4PM – 6PM at the chapel. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, 2:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Evangelist Keyshia Green, officiating.
