Obituary:

Jimmie Lee Wormack, 89, of Orlando departed this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Jimmie Lee was born in Edison, GA on May 11, 1935 to Joe and Rena Wormack Brown who preceded him in death. Professionally, he was employed in horticulture with Walt Disney World. He later began his own business, Wormack’s Lawn Care Service. Lastly, he was employed at First Baptist Church of Orlando until he retired.

God lead him to dedicate his time and service to El Bethel Temple of Jesus at Orlando. He served faithfully where ever he was needed. Deacon Jimmie put God first in all that he did and he made sure his family knew who God was and how good God is. God knew he served his purpose and decided to call him home May 28th. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories: Devoted wife, Doris Wormack; Children, Michael Wormack (Bobbie) Alisa Holmes (Larry), Landra Wormack, Sheryl Doctor (Victor) Sybrina Reynolds, Terrance Primous, Stephon Gipson, Darlene Mallard; loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, 11:00 AM at El Bethel Temple of Jesus, 3000 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Elder David Thomas, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
