Obituary:

Seleda B. Martin, 93, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Seleda was born on October 4, 1930 in Quincy, Florida to the late Iona and George Battles.

Mother Martin was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She was an active and faithful member of Livingston Street Church of God, Orlando even when her health began to decline. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mother Martin leaves her precious memories with her 2 loving children, Veronica (Andrew) Lynch, Gregory (Carol) Sims; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00AM, Livingston Street Church of God, 910 W. Livingston Street, Orlando. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
