Obituary:
Ernest “Bubba” Walker, Jr., 71, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Ernest was born on November 9, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida to Ceola Walker and Ernest Walker Sr.
Ernest was employed as a professional painter with the Walt Disney Company for over 45 years. He was caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable. In his spare time, he enjoyed remodeling cars and drawing. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bubba, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his 2 daughters, Latausha D. Smith, Dasha Brown; 3 sisters, Renee Walker, Connie Walker, Cynthia Plumber; brothers, Eddie Walker, Michael (Brenda) Walker, Kevin (Karen) Walker; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4-6PM at the chapel. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Bishop Kevin D. Williams, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
