Obituary:

Earnest White, 89, of Winter Garden, departed this life on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Earnest was born on July 29, 1934 in Walterboro, SC to the late Rosa and Joe White.

Shortly after finishing his formal education, Earnest enlisted in the United States Army. After his military service, he began working in the automotive industry. Earnest was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted, and respectable man. He was a hard worker, a provider and a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Earnest is survived by his loving wife, Wylene White; daughter, Shaliah White; sons, Gregg Allen, Franklin White, Ryan White; brother, Floyd White; sisters, Carolyn White, Eunice White; mother-in-law, Rev. Willie Bell (Albert) Coleman-Smith; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, 2:00PM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, with Rev. Willie B. Coleman-Smith, eulogist.
