Obituary:

Pamela Denise Hamilton, 57, of Winter Garden, departed this life on Saturday, December 30, 2023. She was born on May 22, 1966 in Houston, Texas to the late Patricia Postell and Willard Hamilton. At the age of two, she moved to Oakland, Florida and attended Tildenville Elementary School, Lakeview Middle School and graduated from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, FL.

Pamela, a.k.a. Pam, was a beautiful person that had a smile that would light up a room. She was known by many to be the life of the party, meeting people and making new friends wherever she went. She enjoyed being around her family.

She leaves behind three sons, whom she loved dearly: Marcus Hamilton, Malcolm Jones Sr., and Adam Jones; 9 grandchildren: Malaki, Alori, Malcolm Jr., Marcus, Arihanna, Garrison, Khari, Christina and Emersyn; Siblings: Michelle Hamilton, Sarah Poole & Alfred Postell (Orlando); Lameka, Kayla, Deshonda & Precious (Texas); Godchildren: Mike Gordon and Consuela Rawls; Best friend/sister: Lenora; a very special friend: Kimika; along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. To know Pam was to love Pam and she will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, 2:30PM at Mt. Zion AME Church, 420 W. Hull Avenue, Oakland with Pastor Michael Kennedy, officiating. Interment: Oakland Community Cemetery, Oakland.

    I am sending my prayers and thoughts of condolences to the family. Pam was my childhood friend. When I came to Oakland to visit my grandparents. Pam was one of the first people I looked for. .She was a great friend, We had so much fun over the summers together. I will always love and cherish our friendship.
