Obituary:
Anthony Shane Ellis, Sr., 51, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Anthony, a life long resident of Orlando, was born on March 2, 1972 to Annie L. Young and Pasco Ellis Jr. He was employed as a truck driver for several years. He was a member of the Jupiter Masonic Lodge #22. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving race cars, dancing, and being around his family. Anthony was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Anthony leaves behind his beloved wife, LaTonya Ellis; daughters, Mionca Rackard, Markeia Warren; son, Anthony Ellis, Jr.; father, Pasco (Sylvia) Ellis, Jr.; brothers, Bennie Lee (Sandra) Young, Pasco (Tangela) Ellis, III; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, masonic family and friends who celebrate the life he shared with us.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 1:00PM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Terence R. Gray, I, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

Tonya, B.Y., Pokie and all the family too numerous to name, please know that your Richmond Heights family / especially the 2100 Block is grieving with you. This hurts so deep, and yet, we know that earth’s sorrows will be healed. You are loved.
To family, im a cousin in New Jersey, it is with sadness and my deepest sympathy, prayers for all. I remember Tony as a kind and gentle man and although we are miles apart, he along with his brothers are my favorites, peace to the family.
I am sorry for the loss of your husband. Tony was a great man of integrity and an awesome example of a family man. I am thinking of you Tonya and your family. Please accept my condolences. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Love you
