Obituary:
Basmati Singh, 71, of Apopka, departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2023. Basmati was born on May 8, 1951 in Georgetown, Guyana to Hardai and Ramroop Ramcharan. Basmati enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her two daughters, Neeta (Clive) Etienne, Nandita Singh; 10 siblings; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM until services begin at 3:00 PM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Reuben Binda, officiating.
