Obituary:
Keith A. “Junior” Morgan peacefully departed his earthly life on Wednesday December 14, 2022, at the tender age of 59 in Orlando, Fl. Keith A. Morgan Jr. was born on April 20, 1963, in Kingston Jamaica to Keith Morgan Sr. and the late Loleta Stephenson Belnavis. He was the second child of five children.
He was formally educated on the Islands of the Bahamas where he lived with his father Keith Morgan Sr. for several years. Though he loved living in the Bahamas with his father he soon grew homesick for the land that he loved and the woman who raised him, so he soon moved back to Jamaica to be with his beloved Mother.
Keith Sr. and Loleta imparted a thriving work ethic in Junior who was a born leader. Keith Jr. was extremely hard working, becoming an entrepreneur at a young age. Partnering with his stepfather, Neville Belnavis, Junior helped create a thriving trucking business serving all of Jamaica. It could be said that Junior was a human GPS before GPS because he knew every road in Jamaica. The business went on to be more than just a passion project, eventually growing into a widely popular and successful business. It was in his neighborhood that Junior met one of the great loves of his life, his neighbor Sharon Roberts. Soon the pair became man and wife, a union that produced his first 4 wonderful children: Antonio Morgan, Charlene Morgan-Miller, Jennay Morgan, and Kadeem Rust. Junior later went on to have 2 more beautiful daughters, Shanese Morgan and Shameek Morgan.
In 1998, Junior emigrated to the United States for a change of pace and to be closer to his family. Still being an industrialist at heart, Junior quickly started another successful trucking business. Even in this new Yankee country he found a way to commit every road traveled to memory, even noting where each toll was so he could expertly avoid them. Truly a photographic memory. No stranger to the fiery spirit of entrepreneurship Junior confidently ran his company until mounting health issues forced him to retire.
One of things most well known about Junior, was that he loved his food fresh and spicy. Often eating scotch bonnet peppers raw. Known for his easy-going attitude and his loving and gentle demeanor. He enjoyed fixing his truck, watching NCIS and crime dramas on T.V., bowling and watching fireworks. Most recently he was able to witness fireworks live for the first time with his kids and grandkids. But above that, anyone who knew Junior knew that his family was the most important treasure in his life. A living testament to the fact that he was a simple gentleman who always put his family first.
He leaves a large loving family to cherish his memories: 6 amazing children; Antonio Morgan, Charlene Morgan-Miller, Jennay Morgan, Shanese Morgan, Shameek Morgan, and Kadeem Rust, as well as their spouses Mary Morgan and Albert Miller II respectfully. He further leaves behind his Stepfather Neville Belnavis, 4 Siblings Marlene Morgan, Garfield Belnavis, Lester Belnavis, and Michelle Belnavis. Father Keith Morgan Sr. He leaves a host of Grandchildren Iyana Miller, Jenise Miller, Albert Miller III, Alyssa Miller, Gabriella Morgan, Amani Morgan, and Liam Morgan. A host of family and friends.
Nothing is more difficult, and therefore more precious, than to be able to decide. ~ Napoleon Bonaparte
