Obituary:
John Wesley Bryant, 42, of Orlando departed this life on Sunday, December 18, 2022. John, affectionately called John Boy, was a lifelong resident of Orlando, born to Alfreda and Johnnie Bryant on December 20, 1979. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from West Orange High, class of 1998. Prior to his demise, he was an active member of Sanctuary of Praise, Orlando.
To those who knew John, he will be remembered as a caring, outgoing person who was willing to lend a helping hand. He was always there to offer his support from taking care of his family, and to his son, John was someone you could trust and rely on. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Devin W. Bryant; mother, Alfreda Bryant; sisters, Tammie M. Bryant, Jessica J. Bryant, Jennifer D. Bryant; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 4PM – 6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022, 1:00 PM at Agape Perfecting Praise and Worship Center, 320 S. Ivey Lane, Orlando with Pastor Jonathan L. McKnight, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
