Obituary:

Pastor Harry Lee Woodard, Sr., 72, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was born on February 6, 1950 in Tildenville to the late Beaulah and Jimmy Woodard.

Pastor Woodard was educated in the Orange County Public Schools system and graduated from Charles R. Drew High School, class of 1968. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant after over 23 years of service. Pastor Woodard was called to the ministry and quickly became a highly sought after evangelist in Florida. His invaluable lessons touched the lives of many members and visitors of the Christ End Times Ministries, Apopka. He also shared the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Winter Garden and surrounding communities, understanding that true ministry is done outside the church. The mission Pastor Woodard carried with him from Mark 16:15, “And He said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” became a major tool he used to guide countless souls to the ever- open door of Christ. Gaining the love and respect from many, Pastor Woodard’s light became a strong, gravitational pillar for every community he served.

Pastor Woodard breathed his last breath and put on his new robe of glory on December 8th with his family by his bedside. His ministry and legacy will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Woodard; daughters, Tricia Travis, Rachelle Woodard; sons, Harry (Tiffany) Woodard, Jr., Raymond Woodard; sisters, Dorothy (Hearn) Dukes, Pastor Dora Richardson, Pastor Mary (Bishop Willie) Barnes, Barbara (Robert) Stevenson, Deloris Riggins; brother, Willie (Narva) Woodard, Sr.; 24 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; the entire Woodard family, colleagues, and numerous friends. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the:

Not many times you get to have such a special relationship with a family member. I’ll always be blessed to have had a teacher such as you in how to keep pushing. The last conversation we had will always stay with me. You looked at me and said I’m at peace. Unk thanks for the many prayers and kind words over the years. I’m not in sorrow that you’re gone on home. Truly I know you’re in a better place truly glad your suffering is over. I love you and truly will miss our conversations, love you Sand Man.

The Lord is our shepherd we shall not want. With that in mind, God put a lot of healing in time. Each day that passes the pain seem to surrender to the joys of life all around us. I pray for your peace and security in the one we call Lord, because He will not fail you now.God bless you and family my sister.

Sis Patricia Woodard and Family, our prayers are with you in this time of lost. Our families goes back to the 90s when Pastor Woodard and I served in leadership roles in the Gospel Service at Hellenikon AFB Greece. At that time, Pastor Woodard was a Deacon with the heart of a pastor. His knowledge of ‘Church’ and ‘The Word’ was of great assistant to me in order to fulfill my responsibilities as the Spiritual Leader. Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:6-8, “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” Pastor Woodard my brother, my co-labor in Christ, my friend, rest in peace, job well done!!!
