Obituary:
Walter “Walt” Jackson, 94, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, October 26. Walter was born on September 7, 1928 in Winter Park, FL to the late Bertha and Willie Jackson. Professionally, Walter worked in construction for several years.
Walter dedicated his life to serving God, his family and community. He was an active and faithful member of Mt. Olive Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Orlando. He instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all his grandchildren and great great grandchildren to follow. Walter loved to fish and whenever he could, he spent his time on the water. He was a devoted grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Walter is survived by one sister, Ola Smith; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; 2 great great great grandchildren; special friends, Sharod Wilkins, Charles Snell, Rev. Amos Moore; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1603 Greenwood Street, Orlando with Pastor Tyrone Jones, officiating.

Bro. Walter Jackson is a well respected Trustee of the Mount Olive CME Church. He Loved blessing others and is considered a Pioneer on the Battlefield of the Lord! He Will Be Truly Missed!!!! he has joined his beautiful bride Sis. berniece Tater Red Jackson in Heaven! To God be The Glory!!!
