Obituary:
Angela “Angie” Dann, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2021. Angela was born on May 8, 1955 in Roxborough, Trinidad & Tobago to the late Margaret and John Harrilal. Angela was a very gifted and bright young woman and earned the title of Valedictorian of her 1975 High School class. She was a dynamic cook and worked as a chef for several years.
Angie, as she was affectionately called, was a woman of great wisdom. Not only was she an excellent cook, but she enjoyed sewing, dancing and planning events. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of her children and grandchildren to follow. Her smile, like her memory, will live on in our hearts. Angie was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Angie leaves her precious memories with her loving children: Caldwell (Ashley) Dann, Shabiki Dann, and Shereena (Kyre) Coleman; sisters, Claudia (Stephen) Dick, Marilyn Harrilal, Karen (Robert) Caruth; brothers, Garvin Harrilal, Augustus (Karen) Harrilal; 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, 11:00 AM at International Harvest Church, 2740 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando with Pastor Kenwin Hunt, officiating. Ms. Angela was one of the most loving and energetic women I know. She will be greatly missed.
Mommy may you continue to rest in eternal peace. There isn’t a day that don’t go by I don’t think of you, and miss your beautiful smiling face. Not only were you my mom, you are my very best friend. I’ll continue to keep you in my heart until we meet again my dear Queen. I love you always Mommy.
