Obituary:

Willie J. Moore, 80, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Willie was born on March 14, 1942 in Vidalia, GA to the late Fannie Mae Thomas and Coleman Chanci Moore. He was reared by Grandaddy John Thomas & Grandma Blanche Thomas.

Willie was employed as a truck driver for several years. He was a faithful member of New Bethel AME Church, Orlando. One of his favorite hobbies was watching TV with his beloved wife, Ernestine. Willie loved spending time with his family, friends, and above all else, his grand and great grandchildren. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.

He is survived by his devoted wife of over 60 years, Ernestine Moore; children: Shaquera (Terence) Annable, Rodney (Samantha), Karen Moore-Neal, Gwenette Moore-Towns, Willie James (Jewell C.) Moore , Jr. sister, Martha (Walter) Gaston; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, 11:00AM at New Bethel AME Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.

    Mrs. Tina Moore & the entire Moore Family. So very sorry to hear about the transition of your Family Patriarch, Mr. W. James Moore. With the utmost sincerity, may God’s grace, love, comfort and prayers surround each of you. We are truly, forever grateful to have such an amazing extended family apart of our lives.
