Obituary:

Millard Lemore Palmer, 78, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Millard was born on November 29, 1943 in St. Catherine, Jamaica, WI to Alberta and Eustace Palmer. Millard was employed as a OCPS Crossing guard for several years.

Millard was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted, respectable Christian man. He raised all of his kids with values and morals. He always taught his children how to be strong and resilient. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. In his spare time, Millard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Deacon Palmer, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his loving children, Janet (Bryan) Gibbs, Juliet (Patrick) Roberts, Jasmine Roach, Andrea Palmer, VaLonelle Palmer, Olivene (Clement) Williams, Geraldine Palmer; sister, Hermine Palmer; brother, Alan Palmer; 25 grandchildren; and a host other relatives and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, 12:00 Noon at Harvest Church Worship Center, 2612 N. Powers Drive, Orlando, with Rev. Herman Bryan, officiating. Final services and burial will take place in St. Catherine, Jamaica under the direction of House of Tranquility Funeral Home.
