Obituary:
Maurice Lavern “Reese Dog” Henderson, 51, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Maurice, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on August 7, 1970 to the late Latricia Henderson and Vernon Jones. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Edgewater High School. He was employed as a welder at the time of his demise. Maurice was a skilled handy man, he could fix anything that was broken.
Maurice loved to play basketball, watch sports, listen to music and just spend quality time with his family. Maurice was a loving devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Maurice leaves to cherish his memories to his: daughter, Maurquisha (Rodreakas) Henderson-Smith; sons, Marqeese (Kendra) Henderson, Dejiontae Rodriguez; brothers, Christopher L. Henderson, James (Anna) Cutliff; sisters, Melissa Henderson, Lukysha Cutliff, Lameeca Cutliff, Lorrelle Mitchell; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 12:00 Noon, New Church of Faith, 5000 Silver Star Road, Orlando with Pastor Johnathan Frazier, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.

My childhood friend we didn’t see eye to I when we were children always bickering arguing but as we got older we can good friends we even became roommates at one time after my divorce he was there my friend love you and miss you brother 😇

To my brother from another mother from day one we were friends have known you your whole life cuz I was a couple of years older than you always been a great guy good friend and wonderful person.
