Obituary:

Carleane Cornelius Ings Earle, 79, of Winter Garden, departed this life on Friday, April 1, 2022. Carleane was born on March 31, 1943 to Carl C. Ings and Annie Pearl Ings in Wilmington, NC. She was the second of three born to this union.

Carleane’s family moved back to Florida in 1945, where she attended Winter Garden Public Schools. She graduated from Drew High School. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and Valencia Community College. Eventually, she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in early childhood education. She furthered her studies and earned her Master’s Degree from Stetson University of Deland, FL with honors. She taught in Orange County Public School System until she retired. After retirement, she returned to teaching at Vision Learning Center in Winter Garden, FL.

Carleane was a member of New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church for 31 years. She was a deaconess, Sunday School superintendent, choir member, and on the Missionary Board. Carleane was a faithful member of her church and to the Lord. She was also a member of Circles of Winter Garden for 6 years.

Carleane received her wings on April 1, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Bridgette Davis; sons, Joe Lee Madison, David Earle; adopted son, Shelldrick Singleton; sister, Lizette (Edward) Jackson-Hicks; devoted cousin/sister, Patricia Brooks-Avery; special friends, William Campbell, Cheryl Hansen; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; her church family, Circles of Winter Garden family, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, 2:00 PM at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 S. Lakeview Avenue, Winter Garden with Rev. Dr. David S. Harp Sr., officiating. Interment: Oakland Tildenville Community Cemetery, Oakland.
