Obituary:

Chanta Antonette Williams, 36, of Poinciana, departed this life on Friday, February 4, 2022. Chanta was born on March 1, 1985 in Omaha, NE to Robert and Darlene Williams. She has been preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Chanta was raised in Omaha, NE then later moved to Florida at the age of 17 where she finished High School. She began her journey touching the lives of many friends and family. Chanta had an extensive job as a call center manager. Anywhere she went she’d meet new people with her beautiful smile and spirit.

She loved taking care of her kids and they adored their mom. She spent some time in Houston, Texas before moving back to Florida after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She lost her battle at the age of 36 after a long fight.

Chanta leaves behind two beautiful sons, Camren Jaquez Williams and Amir Jahsiah Thomas Lafoucade; parents, Darlene and Robert Williams; two brothers, Terrance (Melissa) Williams, Carlos (Jessica) Williams; four nephews, four nieces, and a host of other relatives and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, 11:00 AM at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 105 E. Walnut Street, Kissimmee. Interment: Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee.

    I didn’t know you very well. Just as a supervisor at ADG. But I could see what a beautiful soul you were. I’m so thankful our paths crossed. Thank you Jesus!
