Obituary:
George L. Coar, 71, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. George, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on January 18, 1950 to the late Fairy Mae and George William Coar. Professionally, George was employed as a auto salesman for several years. He was an active and faithful member of The Hope Church of Orlando. He served in several capacities, namely as a Campus Chaplain, member of the Ministerial Team and the Men’s Ministry. He was a servant of God who feared and loved the Lord with all his heart until his last breath. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed and cherished by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Coar; daughter, Theresa Thurman; 3 brothers, Frank Coar, Reginald Coar, Miguel Coar; and a host of other relatives and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4-6 PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 11:00 AM at The Hope Church of Orlando, 3032 Monte Carlo Trail, Orlando with Archbishop Allen T.D. Wiggins, officiating.

I just learned earlier today about the passing of a real friend and brother. My heart goes out to his immediate and extended families as well as his “Hope” family. Keeping each of you that impacted in thought and prayer !!!
