Obituary:

Lizzie M. Spence, 89, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Lizzie, affectionately called Sue, was born on May 5, 1932 in Duluth, GA to the late Lucille Clark. She was employed as a cafeteria worker with Orange County Public Schools for over 30 years.

Lizzie was an active member of Malone Memorial COGIC, Orlando. Mother Spence instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. She enjoyed cooking and caring for anyone who was in need in her community. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish loving memories of a life well lived: daughters, Vivian Johnson, Cheryl Taylor, Patricia (Albert) Bouie; sons, Lindsey (Juanita) Taylor, Jr., Albert Taylor, Tyrone (Synetress) Taylor; sisters, Betty Farris, Mary Gaines; 25 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, 1:00 PM, Malone Memorial COGIC, 401 S. Ivey Lane, Orlando with Pastor Tommy L. Woodson, officiating. Interment: Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville.
