Sincere condolences to the family and many friends of Emory “Scatty Boo” Mack, who I heard of in the ’60s along with Fats Felder, another Jones High football legend. He was just a few years ahead of me in school. In the last year, I learned he had become friends with my brother Kenny and I saw him many times in good humor and spirits even while struggling to breathe and get around. He was wise and genuine and funny. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him May God grant him a home in heaven, with love and peace, forever.
