Obituary:

Leroy N. “Big Spark” Gumbs, 58, Ocoee, departed this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Leroy was born on October 25, 1962 in Anguilla, US Virgin Islands to Matile Fleming and Cyril Gumbs. Leroy was employed as bakery department supervisor at the time of his demise. He was caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable. Leroy raised all of his kids with values and morals. He always taught all of his kids how to be strong and resilient. He cared for and loved all of his family. He was a provider and loved devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Big Spark, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his loving wife, Christine Gumbs; son, Ozaze Gumbs; daughters, Tashima Gumbs and Shartamarra Gumbs; 8 sisters; 5 brothers; 3 grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 10:00 AM at The Worship Center, 8001 Silver Star Road, Orlando with Pastor Lorenzo Hopper Sr., officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
