Obituary:
Gregory Nathan “Lil Greg” Polite, 25, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, May 31, 2021. Gregory, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was the third of four siblings born on October 17, 1995 to Sonja Johnson-Robinson and Jerry Polite. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Evans High in June 2014. He was a loving and bright young man. Gregory left a smile on the faces of everyone he came in contact with. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Sonja Johnson-Robinson; father, Jerry Polite; brothers, Jerry Polite, Jerrell Polite, Justin Polite; sisters, Meyonda Evans, Danielle Polite, Taniesha Polite; maternal grandmother, Rosie Johnson; uncles, Phillip Gordon, Anthony Johnson, Gregory Johnson, Richard Johnson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of Celebration will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, 11:00AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, 811 N. Powers Drive, Orlando. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
Due to limited seating, attendance to the funeral service on Friday is INVITE ONLY FROM THE FAMILY.

Baby bro!! This is by far one of the toughest pills to swallow man, definitely still processing but I’m beginning to accept. I wish we had more time bro but it all happens the way God plans and for that reason alone I won’t question. With eyes full of tears and a heart full of love brotha ima miss you man. Until we meet again and for real my boy this time we gone hang!!

I am heartbroken to hear the news of Gregory’s passing. I was just thinking of former students at Pinewood Elementary, so I searched Gregory’s name. I will always remember his beautiful smile and charming personality. I’m so sorry for your loss.
