Obituary:
Roland Allan Wade, 50, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Roland, affectionately known as ‘DJ Roland’, was born on March 26, 1970 in Inglewood, CA to Gertrude and Clifford Wade, Sr. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Jones High School, class of 1991. In his professional career, Roland was a skilled chef. He was employed with various restaurants in Orlando to include IHOP, and was an active employee of Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel at the time of his demise.
For Roland, sports and being a DJ were a way of life. His favorite NFL team was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Roland leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Tiffany Wade; daughter, Shykeria Wade-Lifleur; mother, Gertrude Wade; brother, Clifford Wade Jr.; sisters, Yolanda Wade, Andrea Wade; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 412 E. Kennedy Boulevard, Eatonville with Pastor Andrew Wade, officiating. Interment: Taft Cemetery, Taft.
