Obituary:
Marlon Jermaine “Gank” Scott, Sr., 50, of former resident of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in LaGrange, GA. Marlon was born on November 2, 1970 to Ladale S. and Raymond Scott. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Edgewater High School. There, he played football and became a skilled wide receiver throughout his high school career. While in Georgia, he worked in relocating services prior to his demise. In his spare time, Marlon enjoyed watching sports, fixing cars and barbequing for family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Gank is survived by his wife, Zelda G. Scott; son, Marlon Scott, Jr.; step daughters, Quantashia Johnson, Brittney Hallback; step sons, Trevis Hall, Willie Johnson, Vincent Johnson, Tremaine Johnson; sisters, Adrian Darisaw, Ashley Moore; brothers, Lionel Darisaw, Channson Darisaw, Desmond Darisaw, Eric Moore, Raynard Moore, Johnathan Moore, Malcolm Moore; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4-6 PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Orlando West Ministries, 3005 N. Powers Drive, Orlando with Pastor Stovelleo Stovall, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

To the family of my dear friend may God give you strength and peace of the passing of my dear friend Marlon whom I worked with here in Atlanta for over 6 years. My heart is still tired to pieces of the news I received about my brother passing. He is truly missed here in Atlanta by many.
