Obituary:

Betty Jean “Rabbit” Bryant, 70, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Betty, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on May 18, 1950 to Lessie P. Smith and George Bryant. She was educated in the Orange County Public Schools and a proud graduate of Jones High School, class of 1969.

Betty, affectionately called ‘Rabbit’, dedicated her life to serving God, her family and community. She was a member of St. Mark AME Church, Orlando. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her: devoted daughters, Kamira and Andrea Bryant; mother, Lessie P. Smith; sister, Barbara Paige Hill; 4 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, 11:00AM at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 654 W. Anderson Street, Orlando with Pastor Rollie Murray, Jr., officiating. Interment: Edgewood Cemetery, Apopka.
